The American Lighting LUC-8-DB LED Contrax Undercabinet Light Fixture is an economical, bright, and practical LED undercabinet light with a curved acrylic lens design and tool-free access to the wiring compartment. This 8-1/2-inch fixture is designed to mount to the underside of a shelf or cabinet, at the leading edge, for optimal performance. The quick access door speeds up hardwire installations, and the modular design with power cords and linking cables (sold separately) offers maximum flexibility and optimal fixture placement.

The LUC-8-DB is dimmable with most incandescent, CFL/LED (Triac), and low voltage electronic dimmers (check minimum load requirements). It delivers a warm white color temperature of 3000K, an input voltage of 120V AC at 60Hz, and a 120-degree beam angle. With its cool operation and high light output, the fixture can deliver up to 210 lumens per unit. The low-profile housing, standing less than 1-inch high, hides easily.

The fixture utilizes 3528 LEDs that offer a CRI of 82+ and a rated life of 35,000 hours. The steel housing with a powder coat finish is sturdy and durable, while the full-length acrylic lens diffuses the light evenly over the work area. Multiple connection points hold the PC board firmly against the heat sink, optimizing heat dissipation and extending the LED life.
